Came in Quebec City to relax and have fun, this hotel was fabulous base for doing it.
We are happy to say that we loved staff and atmosphere.
We loved the location and rooms, all the provided essentials.
No words to describe how I appreciated staff and rooms. The airport was 19 minutes drive from the place.
Had every detail wanted for our christmas, appreciated rooms and food.
Clean, comfortable, reasonable, friendly helpful staff.
Closet door was awkward.
Hotel Pur has style. Just a small example that made me smile are their brown painted walls with room numbers written in giant orange letters at the bottom of the doors. This first impression whets your appetite well for when you first enter your room, which was a masterstroke in contemporary feng shui,
My stay was quite limited, so there wasn't much for me to dislike. However, I must say that I found their $19 rate for parking exorbitant.
Location, good for walking to Old Quebec and train station. Safe neighborhood. Friendly staff and helpful.
The rooms are so spare that there is no booklet telling that there is a coffee machine in the lobby and a fitness center and pool. No guide to tv channels, either.
Large,.modern and clean room with great veiw of the city, free goumet coffee available 24 hours, and very polite and helpful staff.
The color of the door and the hallway- black.
Unique hotel. Great bar and staff. Very comfortable bed.
Was supposed to have a room with a view. Although we were on the 19th floor we had the view of the air-conditioning unit on the roof of the bldg across the street. Tv did not work but someone came to fix it right away. Too far from old quebec
The value was excellent. ( thanks to Booked.net) Very modern.. and cleanliness to a perfection.... that's important to me. Had an excellent 12th floor view of St. Joesph Cath. Near the 800 & 801 bus route to the old town.. or, if you want to hike,.. enjoy the 30 Min walk. Listed as a 4 star.... and I believe it!
Scrap the mini-bar.... and give me a mini-fridge ( empty )
The staff and service was excellent and the rooms are just amazing!
There was no spa and only room service for dinner. There is no bar either and it's expensive to rent a movie since there is no dvd player in the rooms.
We were extremely pleased with the service at the Hotel Pur - we had a flat tire during our trip and the valet gave us a great location repair shop recommendation that turned out very well. Everyone was polite, courteous and prompt. I had called and asked if I could have my Festival d'Ete de Quebec passes sent to the hotel and held for me, and they were ready waiting at the front desk when I checked in and the clerk gave them to me without me even having to ask about them! Great view in room 1814 and they brought up the luggage cart and a bucket for ice for us upon request. The hotel decor is not something we would typically do but we are very glad we stayed there and it was a fun experience.
The side door by Le Table was locked a lot, it seemed. We used the fridge to keep our own beverages cold and the maid just said to leave everything on the counter; probably would've been better for her to take the items away. The bathrooms lack overhead lights (over the mirrors, so called "vanity" lights); the lighting was cool and "modern" but designers shouldn't forget practicality.
great design , clean, swinnning pool, sauna and fitness are waw!!! just book, the higher the room the better the view
I like the friendly staff, able to speak english if needed. I loved the location. Right in the heart of downtown Quebec.
I did not like the price. There was nothing special about our two double bed hotel room. The cleaning staff did not replace our shampoo or soap for the whole 3 nights we stayed.
